The

Monument 2048E is a radiator stepped wrench used to tighten or loosen radiator valves, nipples, and tank connectors. To use it, select the correct step size (10, 12, 12.7, 17, or 22mm) on the wrench head to fit your valve and use the ratchet handle to turn the valve to the desired position.

Step-by-step instructions

  • Ensure the system is off: Before making any adjustments, turn off the water supply to the radiator.
  • Select the correct size: The wrench has five different step sizes: 10, 12, 12.7, 17, and 22mm. Choose the size that best fits your radiator valve, nipple, or connector.
  • Attach the wrench: Fit the correct step onto the component you need to adjust.
  • Use the ratchet: The wrench includes a ratchet handle. Use the ratchet mechanism to turn the component either clockwise or counter-clockwise, depending on whether you need to tighten or loosen it.
  • Tighten or loosen as needed: Continue turning with the ratchet until the valve is adjusted to your needs.
  • Turn the system back on: Once you are finished, you can turn the water supply back on to the radiator.

Additional tips

  • This tool is suitable for a variety of radiator fittings, including valves, nipples, plugs, and tank connectors.
