Thread sealing cord, which provides immediate full pressure sealing and allows for re-adjustments.
LOCTITE® 55 is designed for sealing of metal and plastic pipes and fittings. It's a non-cure sealant with immediate full pressure sealing performance. The ideal choice for a quick, easy and reliable seal. The product has approval for natural gas and potable water. It also meets the performance requirements of KIWA GASTEC QA AR 214 for admixtures up to and including 100% hydrogen gas – certifications are available in select countries.
  • Tested in accordance with EN 751-2 Class ARp
  • DVGW/KTW-BWGL approval for gas and potable water
  • Certified to NSF/ANSI, Standard 61
  • WRAS listed, meets BS 6920 for potable water
  • KIWA GASTEC QA AR 214 certified for hydrogen gas systems
