It is designed to be compatible with over 200 different Hansgrohe and Axor finish sets, providing flexibility for future design changes without needing to open the wall. 
Key Features and Specifications
The iBox is made with a robust DZR brass body and EPP sound insulation to minimize water flow noise within the wall. 
Connections: It has 3/4" connection threads and comes with 1/2" reducer bushes included, making it compatible with both standard UK 15mm (1/2") and larger 22mm (3/4") pipework.
Installation Depth: The required installation depth is adjustable, ranging from 80mm to 108mm from the finished tile surface.
Installation Flexibility: The body is rotationally symmetrical, which simplifies installation and helps correct orientation issues. It is suitable for masonry, stud walls, and panel construction.
Waterproofing: It includes rubber seals and a sealing collar to ensure a waterproof installation and prevent moisture from entering the wall.
Compatibility: This basic set is suitable for all shower, bath tub, and thermostat finish sets for concealed installation (except for some newer Select 3-way diverter valves, for which the iBox universal 2 basic set is recommended). The finish set (visible trim, handles, and plate) must be purchased separately.
